A regeneration masterplan for Wrexham’s city centre, including the diversification of land uses, town-centre living, public realm, active travel, sports, leisure and play facilities and the adaptive reuse or replacement of buildings. 

Our starting point was to identify existing assets and protect their contribution to the evolving city centre. Primary objectives include re-framing Wrexham’s identity and encouraging increased footfall and extended stays by a wider cross-section of visitors and the local community. The proposals were organised around four character areas, collating strategies, projects and corresponding delivery plans to support their specific regeneration requirements.
