Site masterplanning, green infrastructure and landscape design for a new Velo Park facility working on behalf of Monmouthshire County Council and Welsh Cycling. Services included the provision of a Green Infrastructure Strategy, a Visual Impact Assessment, landform modelling, the assessment of circuit options, vehicle access, car parking, ecological mitigation, habitat creation, lighting, changing/storage facilities, planting design and integral sustainable drainage solutions.

Our approach set the new facilities within a strengthened GI framework to provide landscape and visual screening and ecological mitigation whilst also repairing the landscape character between the settlement edge and adjacent Waste and Recycling Centre also providing enhanced PROW connections to the countryside.
