An Action Plan commissioned by Carmarthenshire County Council in response to Llansteffan’s growth in popularity as a visitor destination. The baseline study identified key challenges including the management of tourism pressures, the protection and well-being of the existing community and support for the continued flourishing of the visitor economy.

Practical solutions were proposed for the location and management of visitor parking, the safeguarding of the natural environment and areas of protected Village Green, maximising ‘secondary’ visitor spending in the village centre and the realisation of opportunities to experience the local heritage and natural environment.
